Apple iPhone 12 Mini review
Apple introduced the iPhone 12 mini under the iPhone 12-series. The mini version of Apple iPhone 12 with a compact 5.4-inch color OLED super retina display with a large notch. On the optics side, the phone sports 12MP dual-rear cameras with an LED flash. The smartphone runs on the iOS 14 operating system and it houses Apple A14 Bionic SoC with hexacore processors.
Display
Apple iPhone 12 mini has a smaller display compared to its siblings. The phone comes fitted with a compact 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a large notch. The screen has an FHD resolution of 1080x2340px with a pixel density of 460PPI. Also, the display is HDR10 compliant. Based on the display configuration, sharp and vibrant color visuals are expected. The glass on the phone is scratch resistant and has a layer of oleophobic coating.
Performance
Apple uses the same A14 Bionic chipset on the iPhone 12 mini like the rest of its variants. The phone houses a 5nm chipset that comes with hexacore processors. The smartphone runs on the iOS 14 operating system and has 4GB of RAM for assisting the background activities. For rendering the graphics, the phone has Apple GPU(4-graphics) that renders the graphics for the apps and games. Other useful sensors on the phone are Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light Sensor, Barometer, Three‑axis gyro to better the user experience.
Camera
iPhone 12 Mini comes with two 12MP rear cameras that live on a square camera island with an LED flash. The primary 12MP camera is coupled with another 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera that has 120˚ of filed view. For assisting selfies and video calls, the phone has a 12MP front camera supported with flash. As far as the recording is concerned. The main rear camera can record UHD 4K videos 30/60fps. Apple manages to make a decent camera profile for its smartphones and judging upon that quality photography is expected.
Battery
iPhone 12 mini gets juice from a Li-Ion battery underneath. The phone supports 20W fast wired charging and is Qi wireless charging supported.
