Samsung Galaxy F12 review

Samsung Galaxy F12 is another addition to the Galaxy F-series. The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system powered by an Exynos 850 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The phone comes fitted with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The screen is an IPS LCD with a resolution of 720x1600px that amounts to 269PPI. Based on the screen details buyers may expect decent visuals from the display. The panel has narrow bezels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

Performance

Galaxy F12 runs on the Android 11 operating system with its OneUI on top of it. Also, the phone is backed by its own native chipset Exynos 850 with octa-core processors. For assisting with the background activities, it has 4GB of RAM while Mali-G52 GPU renders the graphics for demanding apps and games. It has user-friendly sensors like Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Virtual Light Sensing, etc. for better performance of the phone.

Galaxy F12 employs a quad-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary camera is a 48MP wide sensor with an aperture of f/2 is coupled with a 5MP ultra-wide camera and two 2MPs’ of a macro camera and a depth sensor with autofocus. For assisting video calls and selfies, there is an 8MP camera inside the notch.

Battery

The phone packs a big 6,000mAh Li-Po battery with a 15W charger out of the box. The battery size is ample and may manage to get the attention of heavy users. Judging upon the battery size, a full day of power backup is expected under moderate usage.
