The Infinix Note 7 review
Infinix Note 7 comes with a 6.9-inch punch-hole display, has a set of quadruplet rear shooters, and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Infinix has raised the bar for the upcoming affordable smartphones and has set a tough competition against its rivals like Realme and Xiaomi.
Design
Infinix Note 7 is solidly built and has a polycarbonate back panel. It is available in three different colors – Forest Green, Aether Black, and Bolivia Blue. For biometrics, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Also, a 3.5mm headphone jack lies at the bottom of the phone.
Display
Infinix Note 7 includes a 6.9-inch color IPS LCD punch-hole display. This multitouch display has HD+(720x1640px) resolution with 258PPI. The phone has a notch-less panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 which means you get a fair display size to treat your eyes.
Camera
Infinix Note 7 sports a set of quad-rear shooters. This set up includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and the other 2MP sensor is dedicated to low-light video-calls(claims Infinix). For selfies, it houses a 16MP camera in the punch hole. As far as the recording is concerned, FHD 1080p videos @30fps can be recorded using the rear camera.
Performance
Inifnix Note 7 runs on XOS6.0 based on Android 10. It is driven by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio G70 chipset with 8-performance cores. The phone has a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU which is coupled with 6GB of RAM which is ample and ensures smooth graphics and multitasking. User-friendly sensors like proximity, light, compass, and gyro are also present in the phone. Infinix Note 7 has 128GB of internal storage where apps, games, music, movies, photos, documents, etc, can be stored. Also, it comes with an external card slot which expands the memory up to 2TB.
Battery
Infinix Note 7 is backed by ample 5000mAh battery and, judging by the battery capacity, it should deliver a day of power back up under normal usage. Also, it includes an 18W fast charger. Infinix Note 7 is an entry-level phone that offers basic configuration. It has a fair amount of RAM and 5000mAh battery is a major advantage and could appeal to the buyers. Infinix has raised the level of the entry-level phones.
