Jeep India has unveiled the 2021 Compass that comes with a host of feature updates, latest tech, and cosmetic exterior changes. The exterior retains the pre-facelift model’s overall silhouette but gets new LED headlamps as well as revised tail lamps and bumpers. The cabin gets an extensive makeover with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment system, and the option of dual-tone and full-black leather upholstery.
It comes with features like a sunroof, an 8.4-inch touchscreen (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and electric-adjust for the driver seat with memory function. Safety equipment consists of dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC and traction control side and curtain airbags.
The Jeep Compass comes with two engine options: a 1.4-litre petrol unit and 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine. Both motors have been upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. The petrol engine develops 163PS and 250Nm while the diesel engine churns out 173PS and 350Nm.
