Tata Tiago review

The Global New Car Assessment Program has awarded the Tata Tiago and Tigor a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection. This makes the Tiago the safest car in its segment.

Features
Tata Tiago

Tata has given the Tiago a mild facelift. It now looks like a baby Altroz at the front with its shark-nose grille and redesigned headlamps. It wears 15-inch diamond-cut alloys. Inside, the Tiago has an updated 7-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has an 8-speaker (4 component speaker) Harman audio system, too. Other features include a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable and folding outer rearview mirrors, cooled glovebox, steering-mounted audio, and telephony controls. The Tiago has a 242-litre boot. On the safety front, the Tiago has dual airbags, ABS, and EBD, as well as a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.

Performance
Tata Tiago

The BS6 era, the Tiago is powered by a single 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. It produces 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. You can have it with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. Although we haven’t tested the Tiago’s fuel efficiency yet, we expect a figure of around 18-19kmpl.
